A few years ago the HBA began hosting an annual meeting called The Taste of Heartside which has slowly grown. This year through the support of returning intern Sarah Ewing the Heartside Business Association was able to implement and launch a new membership website. In addition they had a record 62 attendees at their annual luncheon, A Taste of Heartside and featured updates about 3 major Heartside developments, raised close to $300 and featured donated food from 6 local restaurants and a coffee service from the newly established Lantern Coffee Bar.
I have been sering on the Heartside Business Assocation for the last 7 years and overseeing their internship support staff for the last 3. Sarah was one of our internship crew and she worked with Dwelling Place for two semesters. I was honored to work alongside her and wish her the best of luck after Graduation!
