Athena Awards

a pic of the Awards booklet….

The Athena Awards were yesterday. THE ATHENA Award went to Diana Sieger who is hands down one of the most amazing women I have been fortunate enough to meet. She is fierce and an amazing person. With over 600 people in the audience it was a great honor to be one of the ten Young Professional Finalists. The young professional Award went to Lizze Williams who gave a great acceptance speech!

Here is a spot about it from WZZM
…..and a sneaky cell phone shot of the room as people were arriving.

This week the Athena Nominations for 2014 were announced and my name is on the list. I actually had a mix up with part of the submission form (someone nominates you (thanks Annamarie!) then you fill out a submission form) and it was ALMOST too late… but I slid it in just in the nick of time and made it onto the final round. Looking at the line up I haven’t got a snowballs chance, but it’s nice to be recognized.
