Jupiter Necklace

Every once in a while Ainsworth will ┬ádig into that amazingly bright brain of his and open up his embedded astronomer knowledge and show me some sky stuff. Most of the time he’s totally blowing my mind and doesn’t even know it. I mean, seeing the rings of saturn from a telescope in a neighbors driveway or getting a tour of the constillation (with myths!) is pretty fucking amazing.

NOTHING can capture the splendor of seeing the moon through a telescope, so I haven’t even tried. Instead I made a necklace to celebrate seeing Venus and Jupiter slowly align over the last month. Here is a snap shot of the finished necklace and some selfie action.
