I think studios can be the most personal spaces, even more so then bedrooms. In college i LOVED seeing other people’s studio spaces: the original Pinterest of creativity, studio spaces tell you everything about a maker. What their habits are, what they love, what inspires them and what work they have made that they can live with!
Here are some images from my studio space located on the second floor of my house. The rad cabinets came out of a high school and were picked up by my dad, the tables are actually two halves that sit across the room from each other.
These photos were taken as part of the Studio Share day on the Avenue for the Arts Facebook Group Page. Over 27 people participated by sharing images of their studios. It was an awesome project connecting artists and inviting them to feature their work spaces.
Recently I have been thinking about converting my garage into a partial studio as an additional space to work. Renovation pictures coming soon.
