Jenn Schaub has a focused interest in helping creative communities grow. While in school for a BFA followed by an MPA from Grand Valley State University, Jenn began working with community art collectives, and coordinates the Avenue for the Arts as part of the Dwelling Place Neighborhood Revitalization Department. A dedicated art maker and do-er, Jenn advocates for art and artists, grows wild gardens, is a lover of food and is the ultimate Michigander. She lives with her charming other, Ainsworth, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
A YMCA Tribute Award recipient (checkout this video), and Athena Awards Nominee, Jenn has also been recognized as a YNPN Young Nonprofit Professional of the Year, East Hills Goddess, GVSU Distinguished Alumni, and received the P. Michael Wanroy Volunteer in Business Award from the Neighborhood Business Alliance. Jenn is currently a member of the Heartside Business Association and the Downtown Grand Rapids Incorporated Alliance for Livability.
