Each year Taylor Cole Greenfield and I participate in the UICA’s Holiday Artist Market. This year we collaborated on felted flowers and wreaths. I made the fully felt wreaths and mistletoe and Taylor made the banners. Tradition!
Recently I’ve had the opportunity at work to expand working with resident leaders. Starting in July I have been working with a group of resident leaders from the Weston Apartments and this fall we took a trip to the Community Leadership Institute, which was in Los Angeles this year. My role working with residents is helping to manage the engagement process (planning trainings/lending guidance when needed) and mobilizing their vision by lending technical support (notes/building connections).
